“Amy is instinctually creative and a natural people person. She is a pleasure to work with.”

Every home tells a story. For interior designer Amy Hollander, the challenge comes from listening to her client’s desires and transforming those into a space that tells their story. Whether it’s classic or modern, Amy knows how to create a setting that is both beautiful and functional. Amy understands that our homes represent so much about us–our dreams, our comforts, our hopes. A natural people person, Amy thrives on getting to know you and translating your story into a space that reflects your unique personality.
Originally from the Albany, New York area, Amy’s family have been home builders for generations. Having spent her childhood visiting building sites, she understands the importance of good construction as well as creative design. Her own home in Pound Ridge, New York is a thoughtfully restored 19th century cottage which mixes antique elements like original beams and locks with the comforts of modern technology. She believes that maintaining traditions are as important as embracing evolution.
Amy graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Textile Design and a minor in Surface Pattern Design. She also holds an Associates Degree from Parsons School of Design in Fashion Marketing. Amy can be found staying active with tennis, paddle tennis, pickle-ball, and travel. With her positive and easy-going personality, she is always excited to dive into any new project.
